Today would have been Polly's sixth birthday, and as with Chauncey, daddy would have given her the AA Milne book "Now we are six" as part of her present...

When I was One,
I had just begun.
When I was Two,
I was nearly new.
When I was Three
I was hardly me.
When I was Four,
I was not much more.
When I was Five,
I was just alive.
But now I am Six,
I'm as clever as clever,
So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever

The End

Polly had her own version of this poem, which involved, amongst others, rhyming two with poo (not Pooh!) and three with wee, and that was the polite part! We can always smile , as well as cry, when we remember our girl.

Happy birthday Baby Bear,

Daddy, mummy and Chauncey love you forever, and will blow you rocket kisses.

Polly's site shall soon be updated; any contributions or comments will be appreciated.

Please email info@pollyanna.org.uk

This site is dedicated to the life of Pollyanna Ruth Springett. Have a look around and get to know her. All are welcome to share their memories of Polly, you can write in the guestbook.

Site on-line - but in development.

The initial stage is to gather anything that reminds us of Polly.

Stage two will be to edit and catalogue.

Ultimately, we would like to use the site to help raise money for termally ill children and their families.

An idea for a charity, in memory of Polly, has been mapped out, and shall be implamented before Christmas.

Polly's funeral:

We extend our gratitude to all who joined us, in Ickham, to celebrate the life of Pollyanna, and to those who were unable to be there but sent their condolences.

A special thank you to Rev. Chris Wilkinson for helping us to create a service worthy of our daughter.

Please help us to add to our memories by contributing to the site and sending us your photos of Polly.
